A month on set

A short film, a weekend away, a month away on set. Each job is new and different, each team is new and different, all of them though, are talented. Talented teams take the work out of working. When everyone presents the best of themselves much more develops from a project. There's a sense of trust that is built quickly. Working in any other field I haven't seen that. Those of us in this industry transition quickly and easily, flow.

Flow took me years to master.

Being human took me years to master.

But now that I have, there's a sense of knowing that because I reserved my right to choose myself over anyone else, I have the power. Feeling empowered individually brings that power out in the world to share with and empower others. Feeling empowered can be as simple as being the perfect person you envisioned and created or a simple as letting yourself make choices that others disapprove of, and still know who you are. Middle finger up or not.
